far removed from the manicured soccer fields and the huge stadiums that surround them, 'pelada' explores the universality of street soccer. produced and directed by two soccer players with no film background, 'pelada' illustrates how a strong story partnered with poignant interviews is all you need to create an exceptional documentary. 'pelada' is a must see for any soccer fan. it is currently available on netflix streaming.

racing dreams

almost all nascar drivers get their start racing go karts as kids. 'racing dreams' follows three kids for a year as they battle it out to become national go kart champions. this is one of the strongest documentaries i've seen this year. it's currently available on netflix streaming.

the help

last night i saw participant media's latest feature, 'the help'. the film bathed the entire theatre in heartfelt emotion using a great storyline and exceptional acting. definitely worth seeing.
